Dubai & Abu Dhabi

While I'm waiting for my next flight, I got finally the time to write.

I thought Dubai would be an easy start for my trip...
But the first day was quite tough. Arrived at 6:55 am, because Friday is public holyday the metro drives at 2pm, I had to take a taxi. After taxi driver to my place in marina bay, I had to cover 3h with my backpacks. That means breakfast :DD

Then the heavy part, walking through marina bay by 37 degrees ;)

I moved in my room and meet my host Jay, how is really nice and funny. I lived with 3 other guys and 1 girl in the flat but had my own room. The others are really nice and gave me  advice. The place is nearby the beach, so first walk to it.

I booked a BBQ Desert Safari at 4pm. They should pick me up at my place... Yeah actually the should but never did and the number from the local organization is not valid... So I lost in total about 3h and had to find something else to do. I got to Jumeirah Lake Towers, Palm Jumeirah and Hotel Atlantis.

For the second day I planed to go to the malls and Downtown, but then my friend Bernd called me and the plan changed. He is on a world Trip with 2 girls, too. First stop Dubai :D so we decided to go to Abu Dhabi and see the Sheikh Zayed Mosque.

We had to cover us. I liked it for a small period of time.

It needs a plenty of time to got there and back again. We only had time to eat something by the beach. Because I booked a ticket for the Burj Khalifa at 8pm.

I managed to see the Fountains for the top and the floor.

After to days my feet are already hurting -.- haha :D
Last day was packing and checking out. Then I got to the malls to see how crazy humans could be ;)

As conclusion Dubai is really hot, but it isn't so great. The atmosphere and all the stuff around is OK. It will not gonna be my favorite city, once is enough.
