Steffen discovers the World: Half Moon

Leaving Koh Tao was more stress as expected... Got my laundry back 15 min before the taxi came, but however I made it. After 2 hour journey I arrived in Koh Phangan. The Hostel is very special, all employees and the guest are a big family, great atmosphere!!! The most quests wrote something on the wall to be remembered.

I met 3 English guys. We got directly some scooters and drove around the island.

At the beginning a little bit of struggling, but I got better and didn't hurt myself :D We drove up the coast to the north went to some beaches and other great spots.

We found a 160kg pig ;P It is a little bit slow, but really handsome.

We try to see the sunset at a great spot, we missed it...

Next day we got it!

The first day ends with party in a floating bar ;)

Second day was really similar to the first one. We drove up the other side of the island. We got to the full moon party beach, really nice.

After this the real adventure starts: jungle, no real streets, up and down. Was a great challenge and awesome feeling. Gladly nobody hurt himself or someone else :P

Evening program was playing pool and relaxing.

The guys left at the next day. Two Canadians arrived and we drove up two a secret mountain or we thought it was it, but we were wrong :D It was a big challenge, the walk was difficult and in the end we had to hike a bit. But for this view OK ;)

Wednesday was only relaxing an preparing for the big half moon festival.
Before the real preparation started we got with the owners and most of the people up to the real secret mountain ;) It was really smokey because of the big fire in Indonesia. The fire is caused by humans, they want to have the space for palm oil plantations, so stupid!
