Then I meet Djowy a guy from Holland. We got out in the evening get some beer, walking and had a good conversation.
And then there walks a turkey :D
One evening Djowy and I played some cards with the locals. Wow it was some munch fun, awesome!
My friend from Dubai and the girls were in Bangkok, too. We meet again to see the temples and all the stuff around. First time of water taxi and tuk tuk...
We drove there but we although got to two tourist information centers and tailor's. But in the end it was fun and we said once you have to do it, never agian. We got to the great palace afterwards, golden mountain and some temples.
We had a great day saw and walking a lot. The next day we spontaneously got to Ayutthaya. It is 1:45h north from Bangkok and the former capital. It got burned down 500 years ago. We only payed 30 bath, it's about 75 cents, really really cheap.
The ruins are great and it's good not to have so munch people around :D
One of the highlights so far was riding on an elephant.
At the evening we went to the redlight district. Some time it's really difficult to say if she is really a woman ;)
After these two great days the continue traveling and I will change my room to a bed in a 8 people DOM. Backpacking is starting now :D
When I got there I got in a totally different mode, time to relax a bit and talking to lots of great people form America, Britain France, Spain and of course some German. We discussed the world :D amazing!
Once we went to a local bar, we listened a singer and meet her it was really cool.
Khoa san road is crazy. All around people who celebrate and enjoy their live. It is a bit touristic, but it belongs to Bangkok so party ;)
The rest of the days I try to figure out my next place to go, was walking around to get some information. In the end I got a very good tip from Sophie (owner of the hostel). I will go on a trip to the Erawan national park for two days. Afterwards I will go to koa tao for a diving course.
First time I did my laundry, it looks alright.
So this is enough so far.
Cheers Steffen
