I went on a two days trip to Knachanaburi, it is northwest from Bangkok. Ben a guy from France joined me. We had amazing two days.
This is the reason why we got to the museum of it. It is kind of strange, no normal museum and I think you not really have to see it.
Nearby there was the Kwai Bridge which the people build, too.
After these we drove with the death railway. It was build on 15 days and still in use. It is dangerous therefore the train drives really really slow. But you have a great view.
Next stop was bamboo rafting, but it was more a bamboo floating, not really exciting. We meet drue the trip two German girls and one Australian.
It was only a transfer to get to the elephant camp. Again riding elephants! Was nice because we had a awesome view of the countryside.
Last stop at the first day was a waterfall. It was to munch crowded and some strange people around.
The night we slept in a floating bungalow. We had a great sunset and a nice dinner.
Next day we had to be ready at 7 am -.- It was worth it, we had a great experience with the elephants. Swimming and cleaning them was awesome :D
Next we had a great adventure. Trekking and a bit hiking to get to the top of the 7 steps Erawan Waterfalls. First we had a way but it turned into a trail, then into rocks, roots and slobber. It was really a challenge to get up. Sometime really slippery and little bit dangerous.
We made it!!!
We need to get to the top 2 hours and 1 back down.
The final of our trip was the Tiger Temple. They said the tigers are not drugged and in some situations it seems they aren't, I hope it is true.
After these full packed days we were exhausted and only wanted to come back home for a shower, massage and the bed. But it never happens like yyouplan. I got after an remarkable and awesome conversation with Thomas and Leonie in bed at 6 am...
After nice and funny days in Bangkok I drove by night bus and ferry to Koh Tao. They guys even bring me to then bus. Thanks!
Yesterday I arrived in Koh Tao and will see what happens in the next days ;)
Cheers Steffen
