Last days in Australia

The last few weeks I actually relaxed and did not so much after 3 1/2 months of always continued travelling.
I stayed in Perth for a week. I had to plan a few things for New Zealand and America. I met nice people with whom I relaxed, went to the beach and waterfalls.

The girls cooked us an awesome meal, "Kaesespaetzle" typical German :D

First and last stop are the same, Sydney :) I stayed 5 nights at the blue mountains by awesome friends form Bangkok.

Thanks guys :)

Three sisters again

At my departure day Nico surprised me at the blue mountains. I met him at my first week in Australia.
Shit weather, you couldn't see the Three Sisters

Everyone recommended me the coastal walk from Bondi to Coogee, because I wanted to swing my clubs again I did it the other way.

Bondi Beach
After this long walk I played 9 holes at the Bondi Golf Club. It is really different compared to others, I could play in shorts and  a T-shirt. The course is small 8 par 3 and only one par 4, which only hast 277 meters. You play at the cliffs with a nice view and always wind. This makes the course nice, but not easy. After all it is nice to play when you are on a trip, but definitely not the best course on earth ;)

Last day in Australia was Australia Day! First I drove to Cronulla Beach to visit Faith and Broke, who I met at the east coast.

To afterwards I went into the city to enjoy Australia Day.

I was a bit to late to get to the Darling harbour on time for the firework.

Now it is time to say goodbye to Australia after 2 1/2 months. It is a huge, beautiful, unique and special country. I had a really nice time here and had the luck to see a loads of different places, the east coast, the outback and the west coast. The spots are so different, the east coast with all the backpackers, touristic places and the parties. Compared the west coast and outback is quite, it is more the real Australia I would say, the really special feeling you only can get here! In the end everything belongs to Australia and makes it so special and nice.
I met a lots of Germans :D, but my brother prepared me for this :) Thankfully in Australia are also a few of other nations in the country. I'm happy and thankful to met all of them, some longer and some a few times, but everyone made my journey in Australia as special at it was!
I will always remember Australia as a remarkable country which is expensive. It is awesome, but if you only had a bit time of traveling I would recommend to go to Southeastern Asia. Because you don't have to book everything in advance, so you are more flexible and spontaneously. Of course it is cheaper, not so touristic and not some many Germans around ;P The most important point for me is you have a bigger challenge to travel around and communicate.

Nevertheless it was great and thanks for the amazing and unique time in Australia!

Cheers
Steffen
